Just go to the Control Panel > change the view to Large Icons > go to Troubleshooting > Look for System and Security and just below it, you can see Run Maintenance tasks. Click at Run maintenance tasks and just follow the simple steps.

My point is there is a option within CCleaner but the function is not working at all.
I just wanted to bring to the attention of Piriform where a function DOES NOT Work, I don't want/need a work around, thanks.
The whole idea behind CCleaner seems to be to put desired functions frequently required, in the one place and within the one interface or program. On the whole CCleaner is one of the best software utilities in terms of function and particularly, reliability..!
