Internet Explorer 9 Beta is here!

Looks and works great so far... my only complaint is the multiple thumbnail images view even with only one window open - Opera was able to get rid of that, so why can't Microsoft?

UI is very nice.

sadly unsupported for XP but soon I'll try it in my new PC, off course Win7.

Hi,

Is somebody knows the date for the official version of IE9?

Thanks you very much.

Surprised it doesn't seem to offer bookmark synchronization with windows ID

The white-on-black text is still horribly ugly on my system. Like, nearly unreadable. Worse than OSX.

Looks great IMO. Anyway I am not going to change my Ubuntu for Windows 2007 :P however I realize that MS technology is evolving in the right direction. Except for prices maybe.

Windows 2007 :P

:lol::lol: I never heard this version :D

ishan, I was hanging around waiting for Softpedia to announce the arrival of IE9... or in this instance, I have a Softpedia writer on Twitter, who was at the Beauty of the Web launch, and he tweeted the download link :)

boubou, the full version of IE9 is released whenever it is released :)

I tried IE9 and it was pretty good. I used it for about an hour just surfing around and then I tried to watch some podcast videos. All had pre-roll ads(some lasting 30 seconds!) that I didn't even know about before. No adblock plus makes this a nonstarter in my opinion.

Simple AdBlock uses the same lists as ABP : http://simple-adblock.com/
