How long does it take for ccleaner professional to install. I've been waiting for three hours. The setup installation bar shows it has "installed" about 1/4 and stops. I've tried temporarily disabling my firewall and protection in my antivirus ESET program. I've tried installing as administrator and not as administrator. I've used the free version for years I've even uninstalled it. All to no avail. The hard drive flashes indicating something is happeneing whether that means anything I don't know. To me three hours for an installation is excessive. Any ideas anyone ? Regards
Have you tried installing it in safe mode?
What operating system are you using?
After checking it seems you can install and register the slim build of ccleaner from here
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
and use that to upgrade to Pro version without having to use the full build of ccleaner with toolbar which seems to cause issues for some people.
Would suggest you uninstall any install of ccleaner you already have and try this method.

After trying various methods with some frustration. I did a web search I tried one of the recomendations I found and ccleaner professional installed in a matter of seconds. The solution was to go offline and enter my name and number in the window. Ccleaner installed without a hitch. Thankyou to those who commented. Regards
