Ver 3.0 something, when attempting to install from downloaded file program attempts to Install program on drive H,

non existant. am currently using a version 2.8 something without any problems. Thanks

When you install CCleaner, it normally defaults to C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe (But it allows you to install to another directory or drive if you wish).

If you have this problem, you (or someone that uses your machine) probably set it up on a different path than the default.

Windows remembers this the next time you try to update it with a new version.

Suggested Fix:

Simply direct CCleaner installer to the proper directory ---> C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe

OR.... Uninstall CCleaner & do a clean install

Thanks- I was unable to find where to change the install, but since you knew it existed found in the advanced settings. works fine now.
