Does CCleaner refer to the index.dat files as Windows log files? I have cleaned the log files out, has that deleted the index.dat files?

I do not think index.dat is cleaned unless you have

Internet Explorer History or Index.dat boxes checked off.

I didn't notice that there was an option to tick to clean index.dat files until you replied, as it was greyed out and I didn't look closely enough. Thanks for your reply.
