I have an ASUS F555LJ-XO294T notebook with 8Gb (2x4Gb) RAM running Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
Refer to the attached screen shot of Speccy, which reports Memory Size 8Gb and the 4Gb in Slot #1, but does not report the other 4Gb in Slot #2.
Any comments?
on my asus f550c is it similar, but i have 4 gb onboard... have you take a look on your hardwaredescription from your notebook?
Windows 10 Task Manager reports 8Gb of DDR3 SODIMM RAM, with 2 of 2 slots used.
For some unknown reason, Speccy does not recognise that Slot #2 is used!
i found this:

8192 MB , DDR3-1600, dual-channel, one slot (used), 4 GB soldered onto the motherboard
(it shows the same ram-configuration as on my --> 4 GB in one slot --> but im summary 8 GB)
i think its as by me too... perhaps. but i dont have a look into my notebook yet... this would bring the certain knowledge
have you the packaging from your laptop at home?
are this comparable the specifications of your notebook?
