I inadvertently deleted both "sent" and "received" emails (done within the past 7-10 days) from a period of early May through mid June of this year. I downloaded Recuva which then produced a ton of emails which rather than Outlook Express showed up as Mozella Thunderbird (even tho I checked the box for Outlook Express when extracting them). I do have Thunderbird also installed on my pc so that I could read the messages included. However, the recovered emails are not (for the most part...as far as I can tell) not for the May-June period I am looking for but rather much older emails. As I have a sh_t load of messages that show up in the folder, they seem to be randomly placed (not chronologically) and w/the only the Thunderbird icon shown, it is most time-consuming hit-and-miss process to review them all. Is there a way by which I can have the emails arranged in chronological order? As it is, based on on my random selection process, I have only found a couple of messages from theperiod in question. Also, the messages included are all "received" emails not ones that I "sent" out - I don't know how to access them.
Summing up...1) I haven't gotten most of my recently deleted OE emails (altho many of those included in the folders are 1, 2, or 3 years old); 2) Messages show up as Mozilla Thunderbird, not as Outlook Express as checked; 3) The emails that do show up are not in any chronological sequence and show up randomly in the folder as simply a ton of Thunderbird icons; 4) I have not gotten emails that were "sent" as opposed to those that I received.
