I use Ccleaner since many years and I always keep a backup when I clean my registry using Ccleaner. At each scan I need to confirm that I want to backup the registry before fixing it. I think that you should add an option to always backup the registry automatically without asking the user. To do this, you should create a Backup folder in the AppData folder (or somewhere else) and save the "cc_20160520_074823.reg" files there automatically. You should also add an option to show this folder thru Ccleaner to restore a backuped reg file.

Good suggestion! I've always wondered why they've never bothered implementing that feature. It could be a full fledged manager for the .REG backups to Restore a backup, and Delete a backup that's no longer needed.
+1 to this suggestion.
(Malwarebytes Junkware Removal Tool does a similar, if slightly different, thing, it automatically creates a Windows restore point before doing anything else).
If the manager bit is implemented it would also be nice to include an option to do a full reg backup as well.
