Impossible to clean the registry

I use CCleaner for a long time without problems (Windows 7 32 bits). Recent weeks and despite the passage to the latest version (3 22 1800) I can not clean the registry: I have a error window and everything stops after a few moment.

Here are the details:

Have you tried unticking all the options and re-ticking them one by one to see which tickbox option is causing it?

I'm having the same problem with an identical error message. This problem started with version 3.22.1767 and the last working version was 3.22.1750. Selecting "Unused File Extensions" is the culprit on my machine.

the culprit here is cleaning everything without looking. Please read my below advice

Hi bobono, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for posting that, I'm sure it will be appreciated by other members, and may also be of assistance to the devs.

I've never hit a problem myself with "Unused File Extensions", but since it was introduced some time ago, quite a few folk have.

Thanks again.

:)
