ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 released

ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 released on 10 February 2008!

Brief list of changes:

In this release you'll find some new features such as BIN/CUE support (yes, that includes multi-session/track images, CD Audio etc) along with support for newer revisions of UDF (1.50, 2.00, 2.01, 2.50 and 2.60)

Nice nice

Nice nice

Indeed it is and at the moment with my new Sony NEC Optiarc DVDR/DVD-RAM drive it's the only burning program that doesn't belch about this and that, so it could very well become my only burning application since it now has audio CD burning. Speaking of audio CD burning it isn't as much of a pain as I previously envisioned and it's actually rather easy to do, although I couldn't get it to burn FLAC so I ended up just decoding them to WAV.

For the uninitiated there's an ImgBurn audio CD burning guide located here.

One other thing is make sure you're using the correct UDF version for OS support, and especially when burning DVD movies. I made sure to look up some info about UDF before being tempted to change from the default setting which uses v1.02 to v2.60. For those using Windows XP you need to stick to the default v1.02 because that's all it supports.

This works for FLAC!

Thanks for that! I think I'm going to leave well enough alone as it's easy enough to decode to wav because I've simply got so many codecs installed I don't want to have to undo something.
