"Ignored" photos? (0 found, lots ignored)

Hi, this is my first time using Recuva. I accidentally deleted some photos from an SD card. I was able to find them with another software program, but to recover them, I would have had to pay a fee. I tried to find them with Recuva, and even with Deep Scan the result was that 0 files were found, but something like 579 were "ignored." I didn't see any way to access the ignored files, if those might be the lost photos.

Any ideas, or am I out of luck?

The ignored files are (most likely) undeleted, or zero length, or system files. In Advanced Mode you can use Options/Actions to show these.

Thanks for the reply. So if I'm understanding this right (sorry, I'm not very high-tech), the photos are probably not going to be found by Recuva...?

Yes, they would be found, but in the main it is unlikely that you would want to recover them.
