i would imagine the license is transferable, but for this answer you'd need to *gasp* read the license agreement!

Capital letters are fixed now and your link works Alan
Thanks Hazel
I was getting so desperate for Capital Letters I was toying with the idea of Pretty Please asking to become a moderator
I did preview and see that my link was working and took me to
http://www.piriform....usiness-edition
i.e. http://www.piriform.com/business/ccleaner-business-edition
BUT - that page has two links, appearing as
BUT both links were broken and took me to
http://support.piriform.com/index.php
I have just retested and see the same non-result with the content
Oops.
The page you were looking for doesn't exist.
You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.
@673
You may have to use the browser Back button a few times
@Hazel
Sorry about the length of this rant, but
I had tremendous difficulty getting to the end result,
and 673 may benefit from seeing how I eventually got the result.
I also hope that whoever is responsible for all the grief will fix the support.piriform.com site problems,
When I select your link and Ctrl/Click to open in a new Tab,
after selecting that TAB I still see what I previously reported.
When I edit the address bar and change
http://support.piriform.com/index.php
to what I see in your image, i.e.
http://support.piriform.com/contact
I am still told the page does not exist.
New test 1
I selected your link and clicked to re-use the same TAB
Then I saw an extremely brief glimpse of
http://support.piriform.com/contact
together with my FORUM.PIRIFORM.COM User Name and Stars in the password field
and then saw an unacceptable error by that stupendously badly coded page
INSTEAD of rejecting me for using a user name and password that was not registered for Business Support,
it instantly switched to
http://support.piriform.com/index.php
with the familiar content
Oops.
The page you were looking for doesn't exist.
You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.
When I click on the "Take me Back ..." it takes me to
http://support.piriform.com/home
What a pain
New Test 2
This was exactly the same as Test 1, except I did not click on the "Take me Back ..."
Instead I used the Browse "Back" button
and this time I saw the correct page together with my FORUM user name and password filled in BUT WAITING for me to press the Login button.
Then if I refrain from the Login Button it is possible to create a "Contact Us" email with my full and correct information in all fields,
BUT
because I transposed two characters in the Captcha
I was immediately switched to
http://www.piriform....orpath=/contact
http://www.piriform.com/404?aspxerrorpath=/contact
which was saying "cannot be found" and offering me a choice of downloads.
By clicking the Browser Back button I was returned from the '404 error' page to the OOPS page
and the next click of the Browser Back button took me back to the "Contact Us" email,
and the only slight praise I can give is that my message and all the fields were still filled out ready for me to have another try at another new Captcha.
I see no reason why www.piriform.com/contact should fool Lastpass into thinking I wished it to submit my http://forum.piriform.com credentials.
I see no reason why an unacceptable credentials causes a "404 missing or moved" error.
I see no reason why every-one (lastpass or not) is told that same "404 cannot be found" lie if they make a Captcha error.
1) links are fine and both take to the site ref'd in Hazelnut's post.
2) Alan check the picture again it does not say support.piriform
3)Everything else you describe in your long off topic post is something to discuss with the creator of the PHP program used for the site. It would seem to me that the coding choice of redirecting for 404s causes the need for double Tap back (plenty of sites do the same)
Please stay ON topic from the point forth.
1. The Forum site has been badly broken with links that did not work and inability to post images.
That seems to have been corrected but the grief I suffered when accessing Business support suggested to me that issues had not yet been fixed on the Business Support site.
2. When I click on Hazel's link my browser spends a small fraction of a second at
http://www.piriform.com/contact
but then instantly switched me to
http://support.piriform.com/index.php
which told me the page does not exist.
I suggest you test for yourself.
If you click on Hazel's link you should get to
http://www.piriform.com/contact
If you then go to the right and under the heading "Login into Support" you type
"Alan_B" in the field named "email :"
and 15 random characters in the field named "Password:"
and then press the "Log In" button
You will have done manually what LastPass did automatically because Piriform fooled Lastpass into thinking I was at the User Forum,
and you too will find yourself at
http://support.piriform.com/index.php
I consider the error handling to be abominable.
Once a LastPass user has registered with the user forum it is difficult to access the Business support region,
and shows that the page I clicked for does not exist.
Error handling is unacceptable in that for the average user who does not have LastPass etc.
The result of a user keyboard error in the "Log In" is NOT a natural "invalid" type of response but a diversion to another page that says
"The page you were looking for doesn't exist."
The same grief may happen when attempting to register if the "Captcha" is not correctly answered.
3. I agree that this needs to be discussed "with the creator of the PHP program used for the site",
but I neither know who that is nor have the authority to tell him/her to fix it.
Perhaps you could ask whoever does have the authority to investigate and deal with this.
I thought my submissions here would be "on topic" because 673 MAY have the same problems that I suffered,
(and certainly will have the same problems if he too uses LastPass)
in which case I have described how to get past the barriers.
I will now let this rest.
Regards
Alan
