I wish to integrate IDM into the browser. Is this possible please?

You should be able to add it as a Chromium extension.

It is very simple:

Find IDMGCExt.crx file in IDM installation Folder.
Open extensions page in CCleaner Browser
Drag the file into extension page and confirm the installation
