I was at my daughters house over the

weekend and using Netscape. Every site I visited during a session created a tab. Now most of my normal sites are tabbed via bookmarks, however, that would be convenient if I wanted to return to a site I don't have bookmarked during a session wihout opening my history (Go). How do I set FF to function like that? Thank You!

I once saw a Firefox extension that remembers sessions, so even if the browser closed/crashed, you could reopen it with the sites there.

Download this extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=158

Then restart firefox.

Now go to Tools>Options>Tabbed Browsing

Check the boxes that you want to open in a new tab.

you could also use this which also works

rridgley beat me to the other one i was going to suggest....

grrrr

rridgely and Vanguard, thankyou for the replies! I downloaded the extension and configured it every way possible and couldn't get it to function the way I intended. I uninstalled it and did a search and found out to keep a site up in a tab with FF just open it with a middle click. So now if I think I might want to view something later without checking my history, I'll just open it with the wheel. I keep learning these simple things!

good!

sorry i couldn't find what you were looking for
