I thought I canceled this subscription

I either forgot or was lied to, I had emails telling me if I don’t pay then the subscription would be canceled, so I didn’t. This application is not on my pc but I woke up this morning to a payment for CCleaner Pro. I have emailed the support team but received no response. I would like a refund, I already signed in an canceled the current subscription which states that I can be refunded within 30 days. I am not sure how to proceed from here. Assistance would be appreciated.

If you used PayPal then check your PayPal account for a recurring automatic payment.

We see instances where a PayPal recurring subscription payment has been set up.
Once set up then PayPal will keep taking the payment even when a subscription has been cancelled.
As well as cancelling the subscription (whatever it was for) you also have to cancel the recurring payment with PayPal.

So it is possible that you have indeed cancelled a CCleaner subscription, but that PayPal has still taken a payment.
To double check you could use the CCleaner Licence Lookup to check if it shows a current licence associated with your email.

If it does show a current licence which you thought you had cancelled, then you have to coantact support and have patience because they can take a long time to reply.
