Hi folks. I have recently renewed my CCleaner licence - at least I thought I did - but afterwards I received notifications that my licence will expire soon. After getting in touch with Cleverbridge customer support, I received about 1 email a week of confusing information from a person (though it can also be an AI) who seems to not remember from one email to another what we talked about.
The most concerning issue is that they - the support person - are stating that my current licence number is being used by a different email/account. When I asked about the safety of my account and purchase with Cleverbridge, they asked, yet again, that I provide screenshots with the purchase details and other confidential information.
At the same time, on my PC, it appears that my licence is working well.
So I am feeling very confused and let down.
What will you recommend I do? Getting in touch with the support team has proved slow and disappointing.
Many thanks in advance.

That may be the nub here - did you renew, or did you actually purchase a new, second, licence subscription?
(Perhaps using a different email from the original purchase? or even the same email but with a typo in one of them?)
In the end though this is a user support forum and we do not have access to any accounts or billing.
Only the support can sort this out for you, and yes we are aware that they are being glacially slow as you seem to have already found out.
Thank you for your reply.
It was a new licence I bought, but EVERY TIME I renewed they sent me a new one; I was “advised” that this is how things go.
In all the years I dealt with the CCleaner product I always used the same email and other details.
Sadly, since before Christmas, 3 people have replied to my emails, but none of them has acknowledged the facts I stated; they get details wrong while assuring me that they “truly understand how you feel” and a lot of other soppy, standard, empty and ultimately patronizing words.
In their last email, they wash their hands of it, stating I am the victim of fraud, when my product, bought from them, is ACTIVE AND FUNCTIONAL.
I am looking into legal avenues to address the matter, if anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
Many thanks for reading this.
