Now when I turn off my computer, that End Program box comes up. It says CCAPP which I believe, if I'm not mistaken, is Norton antivirus? I don't have to end the program, it does it by itself without it even completely shut down (hard to explain, the blue thing just goes across 2-3x and it goes away. No problems with the program though. Should I just let it go because you're all tired of my questions? Blame the gentleman that invited me here to make your lives a living hades
It isn't entirely uncommon to have some unruly programs give shutdown issues, I've ditched many programs over the years when they misbehave and cause more issues than they attempt to fix.
User profile hive ("registry") shutdown issues can easily be solved with Microsoft's User Profile Hive Cleanup Service, which is something I have to use. Although I have no idea if that's the issue you're having, and at least User Profile Hive Cleanup service doesn't conflict with anything to my knowledge, and actually helps if and when it's needed, and only consumes a very small fracture of Ram.
This seems to be a fairly common occurrence with Norton, but there is a fix apparently.

I think a lot of folk must have seen that "End Program" box, although like me they were certain they'd closed everything down before logging off. It's nice to know why this happens, and it's even better to have a fix for it.

Event Log Explorer will show you the events as they happen and will show if uphclean.exe Service is running but I believe that a reboot is necessary to have it work correctly:
