I am using the cleaner and it shows how many bytes are removed every time I click on cleaner until it shows 0 but when I click on analyze it shows that there are x amount of bytes to remove no matter how many times I click on cleaner.
why is that?

That's probably because it's displaying the Browser's cache, cookies, etc.
It can be cleaned when the Browser is closed.

Hello, or you have nothing to clean, or your cleaner is corrupted, try the new version!
^^
Even if there is nothing to clean, it shows "0 Bytes To Be Removed"
Yeah, keep your OS and CCleaner Version updated, always -Security and Better Performance
There will probably always be something showing up in CCleaners scan, as some files scanned are "to be deleted", which means they will be there until you reboot, which is when CCleaner deletes index.dat files.
Add to that, depending upon the applications/processes running on your PC, and we're all different, there could be temp files being created most of the time.
CCleaners job is never done. ![:)]()
By the way, welcome to Piriform Norman.
After you run the cleaner, what files show up in the analyze results?
Are they always the same files in the same location?
