Hyperlinks won't work esp. from emails

:wacko: This just happened all of a sudden in my emails. Any emails such as from Piriform or ZDNet or anywhere and up comes this message "this file does not have a program for preforming a action. Go to control Panel to create a association" Now I have seen this on files, but never a program.

I went to control panel but could not find anything that seemed to fit. At one time, when I was reading help files, I found a referral to SDO but when I went to go back and read up on it, the page was lost and so was I. Can anyone help a poor little old lady, please :P Thank you !

If you use internet explorer for your browser: Click tools>internet options> Programs> click the button that says "make default"

If you use firefox: Tools>options>advanced tab> "check now"
