I used CCleaner to analyze the good and bad photos on my android phone. I followed the suggestions.
Unfortuntely, I wasn't paying close enough attention to realize that some of the bad photo suggestions were actually different photos.
Can they be retrived?
I don't think that CCleaner would have done that, especialy if you only 'ananlyzed' and didn't actually clean.
Maybe take a look at Recuva to see if it can recover what you have misslaid?

If the files are on a card you will have more luck than if they are in the phones memory.
Recuva won't do it because you can't mount the phone as a drive.
