How to move files to the beginning of the disk?

Hello,

I have read that the files close to the beginning of the hard drive are executed faster than other files. I want to ask is it possible to select the files that i want to move close to the beginning of the disk?

Not in any way that I know of within Defraggler. There's other defragmentation software that will move certain files to the beginning of the hard drive and there are programs that allow you to manually place them but I've found negligible differences in speed when I ran this software than when I used Defraggler.

Can you tell me some of these programs that allow you manually to move files to the beginning of the disk?

MyDefrag, but you'll have to create a custom script file (which is a royal PITA, and requires you to learn the scripting language and syntax first)
