I downloaded CCleaner a couple of months ago. Just downloaded and said scan. It messed up my Office 7 and some other stuff. When I asked people on this site, they said I should have "unchecked" the Office 7 program before running. I have no idea what I should check or let it clean. How do I set it up before I run it?? I am running windows vista, ie8.

You only appear to have made one other post on the Bug Report forum to which no response appears.

I have only had grief with M.S.Office in the past, but for the beginner suggest
DO NOT CLEAN THE REGISTRY
We can't fully advise you on what to clean and what not to clean, you should check the documentation for that.
I'd agree with Alan and say don't touch the Registry Cleaner. Also keep Wipe Free Space unchecked.
