How to clean portable softwares?

First, i would like to say Thank You for this great utility.

I would like to know how to clean the traces of portable applications like Firefox.

Can i get a step by step guide on how to clean Firefox (portable) because CCleaner can't detect it. When i had installed it before it was just fine.

Portable applications can't be cleaned because CCleaner uses hard paths to clean (ie, predefined defaults)

Firefox portable can be cleaned with CCleaner by setting a custom location for the profile. I think the relevant information is in the CCleaner documentation.
