How about a function name change?

Patching your PC. Really??? How about a more appropriate phrase like 'Cleaning your PC." You are not patching anything, and that phrase scares people.

The moderators here agree that the wording used in Health Check leaves a lot to be desired, some of it is infantile and some of it exaggerated, and we have been quite vocal about it in the 'staff' forum.

In the end though we mods are only trusted users not company employees.

For myself, I particularly don't like that Health Check calls cookies and Internet History 'Trackers', giving the false impression to some that something malicious may be following their every keystroke.

Some anti-malware, anti-spyware, and anti-virus over the years has also used the word "trackers" for cookies and even present it as if they're cleaning some nefarious infection (inflation of a feature/value) - when in fact the PC isn't even infected with anything, and the full system scan would be considered in reality as 100% clean. Wording needs to be considered very carefully so as to not confuse people.

Technicaly it is correct because the full name is/was "tracking cookies".

But the 'tracking' was dropped in general usage long ago, because it gives the wrong impression.
