Host file Updated

I just started using HOSTS ( using Hostsman for MVPS and hphosts ) and for some reason, sites I regularily use ( like pastebin ) are blocked. Anyone know why? I know how to remove them, I'm just wondering what would possibly cause someone to block a site that has very little impact =\

I found that when I started merging HP Hosts with my usual MVPS. Just about all combination of links to a popular Online Hosting site were blocked.

I'm still undecided whether do unblock as I've done, or just stick with MVPS. It was a case of merging HP Hosts because it was there. Never had a problem really that needed them both.

(tcoffeep ] if you refer to pastebin.ca is a "hell yeah"..i can't connect either..to the others pastebins=ok

just run today this hostmvp and they're great blocking add, banners, parasites. using low resources...

hope this work for firefox and opera too.

well i found a bug,on some sites the "back botton" don't work ,,it stays there..

time to go back to square one

Just noticed this post.

Here are mvps' reasons for inclusion: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/criteria.htm

host-file.net's policy is here: http://hosts-file.net/?s=policy

Most DNS providers that block domains will tell you the categories their sites fall into. DynDNS.com, for example, use third-party barracuda.

Thanks also from me TeeJay.

No problem everyone. B)
