I have had an annoying problem with the Internet history of my laptop. I would be most obliged if someone could tell me how to fix it.
Running the lastest version V2 29.1111 of CCleaner which I downloaded the other day has not sadly corrected the history problem.
When I go to Internet Explorer, click on the address bar, begin typing ww, history pops up and offers one website suggestion that I hate seeing again.
Placing my cursor on delete at the end of the bothersome URL is not long lasting, as one more w typed into the address bar will bring back the suggestion.
Also if I click on th dropdown arrow at the end of the address bar, up pops a list of history that I want to forget. Likewise clicking on the delete at the end of each of the URL's is not longlasting. Running CCleaner immediately after trying to delete them does not clean them away.
Please is there a fix to this? In the options tab of CC can I include this area of history specifically? Any suggestion most gratefully received.
