Hello.
Hieroglyphs in new version of CCleaner 5.63.7540.
Slim, Technician, Business Edition.
Confirmed on slim build. I will bring it to admin attention again, perhaps this time they will do something about it.
v5.63 is not an official release yet although 'cracked' versions can be found on the web, the current official version is v5.62.
I would avoid downloading any 'cracked' version - who knows what malware has been inserted into it?
(Many of the sites offering it are blocked by Malwarebytes Browser Guard).
The developers are aware of the issue with text in some language versions.

I downloaded the official link, https://download.ccleaner.com/slim/ccsetup563_slim.exe
I see, that is still not actually the official release yet - it's a tweak to the download address to get an 'advance' copy.
The standard link https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download still gives you 5.62; as does the CCleaner builds page https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
There are Hieroglyphs in the german v5.62 too. The same as shown at the 'new' v5.63' picture i've taken. If you edit the Link ccsetup562_slim.exe to ccsetup563_slim.exe it works and gives you the 'latest' v5.63. Here are the certificates from this File.
...and in the French version.
Hopefully the devs will soon fix it :)

Announcements CCleaner v5.63.7540
nukecad, CCleaner builds page https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds updated to version 5.63.7540, hieroglyphs remained or links there for 'cracked' versions?
The 5.63 builds are released now. We know you are not using a cracked version
And I can confirm the hieroglyphs issue you see.
Now we have to wait for the devs to fix it
Yes, they put the official release announcement up four hours ago shortly after I last posted the links on this thread.
I believe it may have been this thread (and one in a private staff area) that prompted the official release to clear the confusion between 'official' and 'advance' download links.
There are still problems for some in various language versions.
I'm not a developer but I do know that Windows has some problems in certain languages with text that uses unicode.
The dev's will have to track it down. (But I suspect that it may turn out to be Windows at fault).

Other software companies's installers don't have this issue, so it is down to CCleaner to fix.....not Windows.
These mangled language strings (for multiple languages) were also in 5.62. The developers have fixed them now - but not in time for the 5.63 release. You'll see them looking as they should for the 5.64 release in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the answer.
