Why is this one file 1.572 GB and not defragged? What is Hiberfil.sys?? Path: "C:\"
It's the storage file used when your machine goes into hibernation.
I don't know why it's not defragging maybe you don't have enough contiguous free space for it to be moved.
If you have no need for hibernation you could always turn this feature off and free up more hard drive space.

I have 13.6GB of free space. Regular defrag/CCleaner and AVG cleanup sequences. I have no need for hibernation and maybe you could tell me how to turn this feature off? Thanks!!!
Hey Richard: Thanks for the initial reply!! I was just on the stationary bike doing some exercise.
If you use Vista/7 : Start menu >> All programs >> find "Command prompt" (if you use Vista, right-click >> Run as Administrator)
Type powercfg -h off
