hey would appreciate help getting photos back

Last weekend I had photos in my fujifilm digital camera erased before I could save them on my computer. I just tried Recuva tonight but couldnt find a way to check my camera which is connected with a usb cable. Fujifilms directed me to some other company earlier in the week that wanted $400. to recover my family pics. If anyone could help me either with getting these pics back with Recuva or telling me Im just screwed would be great. Thank you.

Mike

have you tried to use recuva set up as your camera being like an external drive.

I am not sure if recuva is compatible to do this?but i would hook try to hook it up as the camera being an external drive per say

then see if you can recover them from the camera that way.

Unless You mean you have already tried this.. then i am kind of stumped?

i would go to store where the sell the camera and aks if they know how to recover the pic's 400$ there out of there minds.

but if the pic's are still on the camera disk they should be able to provide you with a solution on how to recuver them.

See i dont know to much about digital cameras but hopefully what i suggested will help a lil.

Also i would googgle Fugie and see if you can find some sort of tech support forum on them or a tech support forum that may be able to help with this. let us know how you make out, good luck and hope you get your pic's back.

Hi wanbe2, and welcome to Piriform.

If your pictures are on a card, and your PC has a card reader, then Recuva will scan the card OK. It can scan my SD cards fine.
