Hello, guys!
I'm new to Ccleaner, so I'm unsure as to how it works completely. Basically, I have somehow installed 'Tube dimmer' onto my laptop. It keeps putting advertisements and pop ups all over my screen! I have removed it from my extensions multiple times and it keeps coming back. I read on an online forum somewhere that someone successfully got rid of it by using Ccleaner, so I installed it myself. I have done a clean on my 'windows' but I just want to know how I can get rid of this awful programme/bug?
any ideas?
Quite a few different ways are shown on this page, read carefully.

CCleaner will not remove tube dimmer, it isn't actually intended to do that.
Tube dimmer is a form of malware, so we at this forum aren't actually allowed to give advice about it . . . malware removal is complicated and can do more damage than it fixes if not done properly.
I did a quick google search for tube dimmer, bunch of hits, some of them look kind of questionable.
Probably the easiest and safest way to get your system fixed is to go to the malware removal forum at BleepingComputer.

Also, found the same site posted by Hazelnut, above.
Hazelnut IS allowed to give any sort of advice she wants to, and ya better follow it. ![:P]()
Fwiw, I followed all the download links on that page and checked the hashes and the files he recommends are OK, same as the downloads from Bleeping.
Tube dimmer is actually not a virus, it is actually a kind of malware program. You can check, it will be not detectable by your Antivirus program beacuase it is specifically designed by cyber criminals and hackers. So if you are infected with then you install any Third party Antimalware program on your PC and Scan whole computer. It will 100% detect and remove all types of malware from your computer. It is free download you do not have to pay a single penny. To download ****
