I was wondering if someone could tell me where CCleaner, in the Tools section under ?Programs to Remove?, gets the list of programs? The reason I ask is because there is a program listed in this list which does not appear in the Windows Control Panel ? Programs and Features, nor does it appear in any of the Program File folders themselves. Thanks for any assistance in this matter.
If it is a program that you once had installed it may be a leftover entry in the registry or even a file tucked away in docs and settings somewhere.
Have you tried first doing a search via windows search and putting in the program name to see what it comes up with?
What is the programs name?

The search found nothing. The program's name is GOM player + Ask Toolbar. I tried uninstalling it and it did not uninstall cleanly. I was hoping CCleaner would remove it or at least provide me with the file location so I could go after it with something like the Revo uninstaller which I should of used in the first place instead of GOM's uninstaller.
You probably have to remove the Ask.com Toolbar separately, and good luck getting rid of it.
