Hey, I was just wondering if CCleaner 7 has gotten any better, or if it is still the same from my last post. Would be interested in hearing everyone’s views on this. Is it worth upgrading yet, or do I need to wait a bit longer?
Scheduling returned in the 7.2. somethings are smoother, Start-up section has matured, adding scheduled tasks and windows services. but it depends on what you’re referring explicitly to with “better”
Look at my previous post from a few months ago. CCleaner was awful when Version 7 first came out.
While piriform knows there’s an issue a fix has not been made. You can fix this by adjusting the ccleaner.exe /bg task to delay 30 seconds or a minute.
I’ve downgraded to Version 6.39 because Version 7 was so awful. This is why I’m asking. Has Version 7 got any better? Most of the time, it never worked as well as its previous version.
Hi guys, don’t know if this will work for you however instead of using the pin to tray option from the program, I run the program and before running a scan, right click the icon, “if it shows on toolbar like it should” and select pin to taskbar. Running Win 11 Pro with Nighthawk and Rainmeter for custom vertical and horizontal toolbars. These options may help as well.
