Is there a way to prevent CC from deleting the settings for a Google personal homepage?
I would be great if CC could recognise and be configured to by-pass these settings.

Visit any google.com page then:
1. Run CCleaner, and click Options->Cookies
2. Under Cookies to Delete highlight google.com, then click the -> button which will movie it over into Cookies to Keep. Done
You can do this for any site you frequently visit or log into.
Edit:
By the way, cool I didn't know google.com had a page like that!
Privacy, anyone?
You are tied to an Google account, that account is tied to the search queries you do, that can be used to build a profile.

It doesn't work for me. Even if I put every google cookie under Cookies to Keep, everytime I open Firefox I have to access again to see my personalized home page. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance.
I have no idea, but maybe it's Adobe Flash Player Related as some people noticed certain site settings removed by cleaning it.
A quick test to find out is to untick in CCleaner:
Cleaner -> Applications -> Internet -> Adobe Flash Player
my personal page is still personalized, haddn't been back in a while....
I have Firefox cleaning down to a minimum just Cookies and Talkback.
But I did do a full clean recently except saved form information.
Google Cookies Saved:
mail.google.com
groups-beta.google.com
groups.google.com
groups.google.com.au
google.com.au
google.com
so try unchecking some of the firefox cleaning options.
::edit::
I just retried a firefox clean (except saved form information) and the personalized page is still logged in and customized.
I tried everything you suggested. It doesn't work. I try to explain myself better (sorry, I'm not an english native).
I have the Google personalized home page as my home page (the one that loads when I open Firefox), and since when I installed CCleaner to see it personalized I have to access. Even after having told CCleaner not to delete any of the Google-related cookies (I preserved any cookie that belongs to my personalized home page).
Another aspect, that my be useful, is that sometimes the page is still logged and works just fine, but then when you close and open up Firefox again it all goes back to unlogged and not loading. In the meanwhile I have never run CCleaner, nor opened it.
I tried to uninstall it, and it all goes back to normal. That's why I'm telling you about this problem. I would like to solve it, since this is one of the best file cleaners I've tried. Thanks for your time, anyway.
