The confidential deals were confirmed by the Financial Times, the paper reported today.

Onslow - "Oh nice."

I've been testing out µBlock, personally. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/0.8.6.0

Sell out!

I'll see what gets through, and if I don't like the results switch to something different in Firefox.

if i'm not mistaken, the changes only affect "Acceptable ads"

But who determines what is "acceptable". Thank goodness for the HOSTS file!!!

they determines what is "acceptable" according to their acceptable ads rules and i determines myself to disable the option to allow "acceptable ads"

Yeah that checkbox in the options, I remember the mild ruckus when it was going to allow some ads, I've had those "acceptables" turned off since that feature was first introduced.

It's been years since I've even seen an ad, so don't even think about it.

I see static text ads once in awhile with Adblock Plus in Firefox. AdBlock in Chrome, well some animated/flashing annoying variety get through it and have to be manually blocked.
