You need to supply more info:
* Windows OS you're using (i.e.; Win8, Win7, WinXP, etc.)
* CCleaner version you're using.
* Do you use the winapp2.ini file?
Hey,
I use Windows 7, 32 bit Home ultimate.
For CCleaner, I use version 4.05.4250
I'm not sure about the last question. How do I find that out?
Thanks!
Hi Pedro, and welcome to the forum.
Is the "Google Chrome Kindle app" not basically a "Cloud" reader?
Are the books stored online, and maybe downloaded to a temp file to enable "off-line" reading?
If that's the case, you would need to find where they are stored to exclude that location from CCleaner. If there's a dedicated "Kindle" folder I don't see CCleaner touching it really.
I don't have Chrome or the app, so guessing a bit here.
It is basically a cloud reader I think. I can download and pin the books for offline reading. Once I run Ccleaner, the downloaded books are no longer available, and I have to re-download them. I am not sure where they are stored. I will look again though - Thanks!
Try looking in your browser's temp downloads folder, which may or may not be hidden, or a search including hidden files and folders may help if you have a book loaded into the browser and search for the name.
If you can't find it, come back and I'm sure one of the guys using chrome will give you a heads up as to where to look.
Why Run when you can Analyze and then export to a file everything that is targeted.
You might then search the export file and see the name of a book and the path which leads to it.
Ahh, but that's the easy way Alan.
Which has me wondering why I didn't think of it.

The reason is you are not as lazy as me
