Google 2 step verification

I am using Google 2 step verification for my email account, and every time I run CCleaner, I end up having to reënter the Google 2 step password, even though I told it to not require another verification for another 30 days. Thus, Ccleaner is obviously erasing something that the verification process is storing.

If anyone has any idea what that might be, and what I therefore should uncheck in Ccleaner, I would appreciate it.

Oddly enough,i have two email accounts with 2 step verification, and only one keeps asking for reverification.

Thanks!

David

I suggest you clean and then log into Google and re-enter the password and then log out.

Now use CCleaner to Analyze.and you will see new stuff to zap - that probably includes what you need.

CCleaner / Options / Cookies may have new entries under "Cookies to Delete".

If you select and click the middle button to move them to "Cookies to Keep" they should be preserved.

The Cookies to Keep seemed to have worked. Didn't know that option was in there. CCleaner really has a ton of options - I generally haven't paid much attention to them so thanks for bringing this to my attention. You saved me some valuable time.
