Hello: I installed CC and it tells me I have many issues. I tell it to scan and the clean. I get it to scan and it will list many issues. I hit the clean button and it asks if I want to register. If I say no and hit the clean button nothing happens. If I say yes I want to register it asks for a register # that I do not have. I tried to put in some random #'s and they keep coming back when the form to register reappears saying not valid. You all may have already noticed I'm not a computer guy, so any help should be in the simplest form "like push this button" or" hit that key". So I need to know how to make it run or how to get a register to make it run or both. Thanks.

I think you got a fake version of CCleaner. Look at this topic here. It seems relevant to the situation you got yourself into.
