I'm looking for the best freeware alternatives to the following:
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Nero Burning Studio
Winrar
TuneupUtilities 2006
ACDSEE
Diskkeeper
Alcohol 120%
Dreamweaver
Microsoft Office 2003
Anyone know of freeware that is AS good as these commercial apps, or at least very close to it?
If at all possible, looking for products that have support forums.
Thanks! ![:)]()
Adobe Photoshop -> GIMP or Paint.NET
WinRAR -> 7-Zip
ACDsee -> IrfanView
Dreamweaver -> Nvu
Microsoft Office 2003 -> OpenOffice
I can suggest a few but email me with a list and I will try to locate the rest for you.
Scribus,Gimp,and inscape are all good open source commercial applications in the ADOBE arena
I use xp burner and it does most of what I need however look on nonags.com under software free for everyone
I use Izarc instead of winrar
selida is a great html editor
open office or sot office are both great viable alternatives to microsoft office and can be set to save as microsoft office format.
This is all I can assist with at present I hope that this helps
Most of those programes I have mentioned look up in google

Excellent suggestions! I would however, recommend FastStone Image Viewer instead of IrfanView.
WinRAR -> 7-Zip or IZArc (IZArc can make 7-Zip archives too)
