I have version 5.30.6063 and I get the prompt that new update is available v5.30.6065. I download it and install only to noticed that the new version doesn't actually install and I still have v5.30.6063.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled but still have v5.30.6036.
I have always had it to let me know when there are new updates but this is getting ridiculous that it's keeps telling me about new updates but they won't install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
make sure to get the download from here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
(slim build not available yet)
uninstall the current version, reboot the PC, go into Program Files and delete any CCleaner folders (save a copy of your .ini file if that's important).
then reinstall.
if still no luck, try the portable build.
