I am not sure what should be checked off when I use the registry part in CCleaner.
when I used it I have it all checked off and I play the sims 2 game and after I used ccleaner my game did not work no more
So I used the backup and my game worked again what?s wrong and what should I clean and not clean or have checked off and not checked off.
thanks
You need to put in exclusions to protect your game if CCleaner is indeed cleaning something in it. To get into the Exclude area click: Options->Exclude
Also see the CCleaner documentation at: http://docs.piriform.com/

I love the sims 2 ![]()
I have all the EPs and stuff packs (except for apartment life and home and garden and pets and I think Free Time, so I guess not all, about 90% then.)
I've never had this problem though, and I keep everything checked. I wonder what may have caused that problem.
You open Registry and click off the problems you want to find. after that click the button that says "Scan For Issues"
and it will search for them. after it finds at least 1 click the button that says "Fix Selected Issues" and a screen will pop up asking if you want to back up changes to the registry. I say no but if you want to say yes go ahead. then click a button that says "Fix Issue" or "Fix All Issues" and your problems will be fixed. ![;)]()
