Fonts gone wild

Help....!! I'm not a sophisticated user but have been a CCleaner user for a long time on my PC. Finally loaded it on my laptop (runing XP home). Ran it for the first time and when I restarted all my fonts are wacky. Symbols on the menu bars and icons. Miniature type on doc files.

What did I do and how do I undo it?

I ran system restore to get back to normal but still wonder what I did.

Im having the same trouble, after running CCleaner and rebooting i experienced this: Screenshot

I would prefer not to restore my system, i don?t want to keep those registry errors if possible :- )
