When I hit the run cleaner tab in CCleaner v1.41.554, my floppy drive is accessed and the light comes on. I do not have a disk in the drive. Is this normal behavior?
Thanks

It does the same on all my machines. Whether "normal" or not, I cannot say.
I got rid of that old floppy on my box at home when I built it last yr. I cried a little then got over the security risk it posed. ;-)

I've been having this happen with my WinXP system for almost four years now and it isn't directly related to CCleaner at all. It happens to me after I've written something onto, or virus scanned a floppy disk. I've noticed that it happens randomly and can't be blamed on any one software, so I've always thought of it as a Windows annoyance or bug.
It takes a few reboots before it finally goes away.
