Fix or Remove "Like This" Button in Forum

Every time I click the Like This button to kudo a reply in the Piriform forum I see the error message...

I thought it was just a temporary glitch but Nergal’s 25-Oct-2015 post <here> indicates this has been a known issue for at least two years. Are there any plans to either fix or remove this feature from the forum software?

the powers-that-be thought it might lead to big-heads, or egos, or something, and has never been implemented.
