The first time that i run a new version and run my registry cleaner it will show up to or over 1,000 problems. if i turn it off and restart ccleaner it will show only a few. on version 307 it listed 5 after a restart. it has done this at version 304 or 305. does anyone have the same problem or is their a reason for this?

Can you say what operating system you are using.
I take it you mean you looked to see how many registry issues there were, DID NOT CLEAN THEM, rebooted, and most of them were not there anymore?
Were they mainly of one type of thing? Have you any examples of which did not show up again?

WinXP pro sp3 on a AMD Athlon Processor 2000 MHz. up dated to 307 - check reg. - then i did not clean.
i turn off ccleaner and than back on. -then i had only five reg items to be clean.
items the 2nd. cleaning. this has happen from update about305 at that point i had over 1,000 reg. items to clean the first time i used the reg. cleaner on ccleaner.
This only happens on the very first try.
