first analysis

CCleaner for Windows

Hi,

Am a beginner.

Did successfully download CCleaner.

Went through my first analysis but nothing appeared on the board. A complete white page although I did see an active analysis process going on.

Did follow proper instructions as to set the program up.

Hesitate before going on with the clean-up process for I don't know what goes on.

Any suggestions?

Hi, thanks for answering.

I did take a look at the link. Wonder whether this new download - Visual Basic 6 Runtimes - would fix my problem with CCleaner.

My computer is only a Pentium II (266mHz) working with Windows 98se... :o

Does it make a difference?

firstly, you can try running it in safe mode and see if that works.

if not, you can go HERE to download VB. (same link as in taruns post)

Kind of amazing, though, that I have to download this program after using the same computer for more than one year without having the problems I have now.

this program is using VB.

you may not have had to use it for anything else if you dont do much on your PC.

MrG is working on programming it in a different language so i dont think you will need VB when this new version comes out.

dont quote me on that, i could be wrong.
