How can I permantly remove & stop the browsing history being recorded Firefox.

I'm lead to believe there is a feature to do this in beta 3.5, but i have not upgraded yet.

Somewhere in the options window...there's a checkbox for it. I don't know where it is exactly, because I'm using 3.5b99 and that checkbox is in a different place.

Are we talking about the drop down menu again. The "Awful" Bar?

If yes, you can disable it if you wish:

Enter "about:config" (without quotes) into the address bar, click past the warning and scroll down to "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults".

Double click that entry and change the default 12 to 0, then restart Firefox.
