Firefox 8.0

I know that the latest version of CCleaner supports Firefox 8.0 Beta, but does it support the release version of Firefox 8.0, which was released recently?

I expected this to already be discussed in the forum, but I can't see it mentioned anywhere.

I hope I've posted in the correct section. This isn't really a bug, but I wasn't sure where else to post it.

It's hard to keep up with Firefox's 6-week release cycle, versus Piriform's CCleaner's 4 week release cycle. I don't have problems cleaning my Firefox 8 though, what problems are you running into?

Edit: The only thing not cleaned for me is %LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\jumpListCache

Thanks for your reply. I haven't updated to 8.0 yet, but have had a problem with cleaning 7.0.

Thanks again for your reply. I'm not sure what jumpListCache does, but I'll have a quick look.

I've just updated to Firefox 8.0 and have a slightly different problem to the one I had in Firefox 7.0. I've started a new thread about this: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=34340

What is the benefit of jumpListCache ?

It has suddenly appeared in Firefox 9 Beta whatever,

and seems to waste resources accumulating an 8 KB icon for

every Piriform topic I visit ,

Every Google result I click ;

Every ...

How do I turn it off ?

The only place I have not tried is About Config.

For now I am content having deleted the folder and created a zero byte length file by the same name.

No ill effects observed as yet - I can still visit Piriform and click on Google.

I had similar problems with Firefox 9 I tried a while back. But with their speed dial...

Could not turn it off.

Maybe I missed something. Am using 8 at the moment.
