Firefox 3.5.2 temp/cookies

I am running Windows XP SP3 and have Firefox 3.5.2. Today, I installed the latest version of Ccleaner--2.23.993 from filehippo. It seems to run fine(a bit faster actually), except for one thing. After I had closed Firefox and all other programs, I decided to run Ccleaner. I had done the clear data(cookies, temp, history, etc) from firefox and had clear the cookies from the normal IE options, right before running Ccleaner to finish the clean.

Anyway, when I ran this newest Ccleaner version, I ran the Analyze, then ran the cleaner and it said it had deleted everything. However, when I ran Analyze again it picked up some Firefox tempfiles or cookie files(17 it said), that were somehow taking up 0kb(?) or something. So, I ran cleaner again to try to clean it and it said it did. I ran Analyze again after that and it was still there, ran cleaner, etc etc and it said it was still there each time. I also checked in the Advanced->cookies tab and it had a list of cookies that had not been deleted, according to it. It seems like a small bug in this new version, but it may just be something on my side as well.

OS: Windows XP Home SP3

Browser(s): Firefox 3.5.2(the issue) and IE8

Ccleaner: 2.23.993(All boxes checked to be cleaned, except for the clear free space)

UPDATE: It actually looks like it wasn't Ccleaner at all. It was some random Firefox glitch I believe. I uninstalled Ccleaner and Firefox, then reinstalled both of them again(including all my previous settings for both). Now, that weird 0kb file and the 17 cookies don't show up. Must have been a Firefox cache/cookies glitch. But it seems to be fixed now. Guess the thread can be closed.

Keep up the good work, Piriform.

Thanks for posting back and letting us know anitendo :)
