Spent time with CCleaner agents and this forum. My Dell 8930 I9 Windows with an NVidia Card running at 150 % on 32 inch monitor. It seems the fix for failed install is return to 6.3 and deactivate auto update.
Other pc is a Dell 8940 I7 INTEL graphic card and CCleaner 7 runs without issue.
It also runs on a windows 10 tablet without issue.
So when will CCleaner release and update. Seems the forum team has been better at solving the issue than any of the three agents I worked with and let them take control of my computer without any success.
That sounds like the 'Welcome Screen issue", the usual advice is to temporarily set your display scaling to 100%, get past the CCleaner 7 Welcome screen, put your scaling back to what it was.
Did you try that?
A post earlier today suggests that the CCleaner Devs may have fixed the issue, so it may be worth trying again.
