I can accept that Big Brother would like to prevent the recording in chosen areas of Police Brutality by Apple phones.

I see no logic in Apple spending time and money in getting patent protection to prevent other phone makers from copying such a User UN-Friendly feature.

Is the FBI going to shut down every phone maker that refuses to pay exorbitant license fees to Apple to incorporate this new censor control ?
